My aim is to provide a welcoming professional and ethical service that provides the conditions to enable people to find a sense of wellbeing and personal fulfillment in their life and relationships
I am a fully qualified and registered counsellor working in the heart of Edinburgh. Here I offer a brief introduction to my work.
I have extensive experience of supporting people having worked within numerous health and social care organisations over the past 28 years. This diverse experience enables me to work effectively with the wide range of issues and challenges that bring people into counselling. To maintain good practice in counselling I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and uphold their ethical framework.
I have personally witnessed how counselling can help people with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties, how it can eliminate or minimise troubling symptoms so a person can function better and enhance their health and wellbeing. I also firmly believe that the relationship between therapist and client is crucial to determining whether counselling will be effective. I therefore offer an initial consultation session to enable us to assess whether it feels like we can work together and also whether counselling is the best option to address your needs. This consultation is provided with no obligation to proceed further.
My other website pages give more detailed information. Please do feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
